Z Lasu
A vocal group established in 2008. They collect, document, and perform traditional songs from the Ukrainian-Belarusian-Polish border area, mostly from Polesia. Between 2008 and 2014, the group members carried out several Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian projects aimed at animating local communities. The group holds concerts, conducts workshops, and in 2020 released the album Głosy kobiet.
The members hail from various Polish cities and acquired their singing skills primarily through direct communication with rural singers. Each of them also conducts individual research projects.
