A vocal trio including an ethnologist, an archeomusicologist, and a Slavic studies specialist – performers as well as researchers of rural music.
The band focuses mainly on the Dinaric Alps, especially Northern Dalmatia, Western Bosnia, and Western Serbia. This is where they spent years conducting field research, learning from local musicians, and compiling their repertoire.

During their performances, they present songs from the Buković area in Northern Dalmatia, which for centuries has been inhabited by members of two nationalities – the catholic Croatians and the orthodox Serbs. The uniqueness of this cultural region is highlighted by traditional polyphonic songs and the special vocal technique known as ojkanje. We can also expect ritual songs, such as vučarske pjesme or lazaričke pjesme, which form an integral part of the region and reflect its cultural diversity.
