Rules and Regulations of Participation in the Mazurkas of the World Festival
§1 General provisions
1. These regulations (Rules and Regulations) define the rules for participation in events organized as part of the Mazurkas of the World Festival (Festival).
2. The Festival is organized by Fundacja Wszystkie Mazurki Świata with its registered office at 2E Kazury Street, apt. 6, 02-795 Warsaw, Poland (Organizer).
3. The Festival is a cyclical cultural event that includes artistic and educational events related to traditional music and dance.
4. The detailed program of a given edition of the Festival, including dates, times, and locations of all events, is published at the Organizer’s website: https://www.festivalmazurki.pl/festiwal/
5. Participation in the Festival events is tantamount to the acceptance of these Rules and Regulations.
§2 Rules of participation
1. Participants of the Festival events are obliged to comply with these Rules and Regulations.
2. Participants are obliged to behave in a way that does not threaten the safety of other people and to respect the rules of social coexistence.
3. Participants are obliged to follow the instructions of the Organizer and persons acting on their behalf, in particular event staff and security services.
4. Participants are also obliged to comply with the regulations in force in the facilities where the Festival events take place.
5. Participants of the dance events of the Festival are obliged to comply with the rules of etiquette in force during the Festival, entitled Ober Etiquette, which are published on the Organizer’s website (https://www.festivalmazurki.pl/oberkowy-savoir-vivre/) and are made available at event venues.
6. The organizer has the right to refuse entry to the event or remove from it persons who:
• violate the provisions of the Rules and Regulations,
• behave in a manner that is aggressive or threatens the safety of others,
• are under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants to an extent that hinders participation in the event,
• disrupt the course of the event.
The Ticket price shall not be refunded in whole or in part in the cases described in this section.
§3 Minors
1. Persons under 18 years of age may participate in the Festival events under the supervision of an adult.
2. Participants who are parents or legal guardians of minors are responsible for their compliance with the Rules and Regulations and are responsible for them under the principles arising from the Civil Code.
3. The organizer does not provide care for minors.
§4 Tickets and admissions
1. Entry to the Festival events is based on a valid admission ticket or another document entitling to participate in the event, in particular an invitation, accreditation, or ticket, if the Organizer has provided such a form of participation.
2. In the case of open events, admission may be free, under the terms specified by the Organizer.
3. Tickets for the Festival events are sold via the ticket sales platform bilety24.pl or in another manner indicated by the Organizer.
4. The Organizer may introduce various types of tickets, in particular: standard tickets, discount tickets, and passes covering participation in more than one event.
5. Ticket sales rules are published each time on the Organizer’s website: https://www.festivalmazurki.pl/bilety/.
6. Discount tickets are available to the following persons upon presentation of an appropriate document confirming their eligibility:
a) students aged 7 to 26,
b) persons over 60 years of age,
c) persons with a valid disability certificate.
7. The organizer reserves the right to verify the participant’s eligibility for a discount ticket at the entrance to the event.
8. Free admission is available to:
a) guardians of persons with a certified disability requiring constant assistance (dependent persons),
b) children up to 7 years of age, excluding ticketed events dedicated to children,
c) persons over 70 years of age – as part of a special pool of free tickets.
The Organizer provides a special pool of 20 free tickets to each event for people over 70 years of age. The tickets are issued at the Festival Office before the event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
9. The organizer may use additional forms of identification of event participants, in particular wristbands, ID badges, or other markings entitling to entry to a given event.
10. The number of participant of each event is limited and depends on the capacity of the venue.
§5 Safety rules
1. Participants are obliged to use the event space in a manner consistent with its purpose.
2. It is prohibited to bring, possess or use items that threaten the safety of other Festival participants, including weapons, explosives, chemicals, sharp tools, pyrotechnics and other items deemed dangerous by the Police or security services.
3. Participants are prohibited from entering designated and marked areas intended exclusively for artists, guests, technical staff or the Organizer’s services.
4. During the Festival, participants are liable for any damage caused to the Organizer’s property or the facilities where the events take place.
5. The Organizer is not responsible for items left behind or lost by the participants during Festival events.
§6 Program changes
1. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Festival program for organizational reasons or reasons beyond the Organizer’s control.
2. In the event of an event being canceled, the Organizer will provide a refund of the ticket price in accordance with the rules and regulations of the ticket sales operator.
3. The organizer is not responsible for any costs incurred by participants in connection with participation in the Festival other than the ticket price.
§7 Participants Image
1. During the Festival events, photographs and audiovisual recordings may be taken to document the course of events.
2. Participation in the Festival events is tantamount to giving consent to use the participant’s image recorded in the materials referred to in paragraph 1 for informational, archival, documentary and promotional purposes of the Festival. Participation in the Event with a minor is equivalent to granting the above consent on their behalf.
3. The images shall be used in accordance with applicable laws.
§8 Final provisions
1. These Rules and Regulations apply to all Festival participants.
2. The current version of the Rules and Regulations is available on the Organizer’s website and at Festival venues.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Rules and Regulations.
