SINGING Spring and Summer at Podlasie
Led by Julita Charytoniuk
For all interested
We will sing about nature coming to life, blooming orchards, birds singing, and the relationships between men and women. We will become familiar with the Podlasie dialect, learn polyphonic spring songs, including sadońki, rohulki, wysnynki, and hay cutting songs, which were sung as early as June, when the meadows were first reaped.
