Workshops for dance instructors (and advanced level dancers)
Instructor: Ónodi Bélá
A workshop for those interested in developing skills as traditional dance instructors. In two days we will be introduced to the Hungarian method of teaching traditional dances, invented by professional dancers, choreographers, ethnographers and musicologists, throughout 40 years’ history of the Hungarian House of Dance.
Ónodi Bélá – dancer, choreographer, instructor, associate professor at the Hungarian Dance University in Budapest and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. His career began in 1983, with the Pántlika group from Tiszaújváros. Awarded with prestigious Hungarian prizes for dance and choreography. His academic research is focused on the István Molnár dance system.
