Dances from Kielecczyzna
The workshop is open to everybody.
We will learn the dances from Świętokrzyskie Mountains. For example polkas strongly influenced by krakovyak.
Kapela Łysogórska was founded in 2016. It is a mix of youth and experience created by three generations of music enthusiasts from Świętokrzyskie Mountains. They play typical instruments from their region: violin, clarinet, trumpet, accordion and bereban. Lately they have also added a double bass together with the first tenor of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, Adam Młodawski who plays it. The repertoire of the band will not lack polkas, chłopy and krakovyaks.
Marika Snoch – clarinet, vocal, Mariusz Chaba – trumpet, vocal, Michał Jaguś – accordion, band leader, Piotr Grzegorczyk – bereban drum, Adam Młodawski – double bass, vocal, Leszek Steć – violin
