Tadeusz Kubiak Band
The Tadeusz Kubiak Band (Kapela im. Tadeusza Kubiaka), hailing from Leśmierz, continues the musical traditions of their master, Tadeusz Kubiak (1927–2008).
The current line-up maintains a direct link to the source: Paweł Ladorucki (three-row Polish accordion), who played with Kubiak for years; Natalia Lewandowska (fiddle), his devoted student; and Marek Bartczak (baraban).
The band is a celebrated force in Polish folk music — winners of the Baszta Award at the Kazimierz Dolny Festival of Folk Bands and many other regional prizes.
