Village folk bands

Foreword by professor Andrzej Bieńkowski – painter, ethnographer, photographer:
These four wedding bands are Poland’s leaders among village bands playing traditional repertoire. They represent three most important ‘mazurka regions’ of the country: Radom region, Rawa region and Łowicz region. At the Festival they will play not only mazurkas and obereks, but also their whole village repertoire with polkas, waltzes and foxtrots.

Czesław Pańczak - accordion
Józef Pańczak – tambourine

Band from Radom region:
Andrzej Malik – 5-row button accordion
Stanisław Lewandowski - violin
Adam Malik - drum
